Grant office
The Grant Office empowers researchers to secure funding, manage projects efficiently, and build impactful, longstanding collaborations.
The Grant Office supports researchers by identifying and securing national and international funding opportunities, and by coordinating large-scale collaborative projects. The office's experts actively monitor funding calls, ensure alignment with institutional and strategic priorities, and facilitate matchmaking between project ideas, partners and suitable funding sources. It provides guidance throughout the proposal process, including advice on writing impact and implementation sections, consortium building, alignment between project idea & call text, developing budgets, and reviewing applications.
The Grant Office also supports researchers in the post-award phase by managing contracts and consortium partners, overseeing budgets, monitoring compliance, and reporting to funding agencies. Our pre- and post-award activities are fully integrated to provide a seamless experience that ensures projects are executed efficiently and successfully. The office’s vision is to increase the availability of funding for high-impact research and to ensure that the organization is recognized by partners as a trusted, high-quality collaborator.
The Grant Office currently consists of two Pre-award Grant Advisors and two Post-Award Grant Officers who work closely together. The team combines strategic guidance with hands-on operational support. In addition, we aim to offer workshops, training, and one-on-one consultations to strengthen grant-writing and project management capabilities within the Máxima.
